At The Village Hotel, Ashton-under-Lyne, last night, Jimmy Kelly Jnr of Wythenshawe scored a points’ win (100-90) over last minute opponent – Daryl Sharp of Manchester.

Kelly began to unleash some vicious body-shots in the mid-rounds eventually ‘letting go’ in the tenth and final round to secure victory over a very gain opponent. The popular Wythenshawe fighter notches up his 19th win (with one loss).

Also on the Johnney Roye promoted fight-night, Jack Catterall of Chorley secured a points’ win over his opponent - Lubasz Janik of Poland (80-73).

Martin Bakole Llunga v Lukasz Rusiewicz and Jason Sillett v Joe Beeden resulted in points wins for the home fighters, while Craig Bunn stopped Steve Cooper in round three of their scheduled four round Light-Heavyweight contest.
